Dr. Elena Vance
DC, CCSPClinic Director
Elena opened Meridian in 2011 after four years in a high-volume practice where she saw sixty patients a day and had eight minutes with each of them. She left because she could not do the job properly at that speed, and she built this clinic around the opposite constraint.
She takes the cases other people have given up on — the second and third opinions, the ones with a folder of imaging and no clear explanation. Her particular interest is disc injury and radiculopathy, where the diagnostic reasoning is hardest and the consequences of getting it wrong are highest.
She is also the person on staff most likely to tell you that you do not need chiropractic care, and to hand you the name of someone better suited to your problem. She considers that part of the job rather than a loss of business.
